ELECTRONIC PAYMENTS VIA AUTOMATED CLEARING HOUSE (ACH)

The Glenbrook Sanitary District will begin offering an ACH bank draft program (direct withdrawal) to all of our water & sewer customers.  This service assures your payment will be received in a timely manner as well as provide a safe and secure way to pay your water/sewer bill.

Monthly water/sewer bills will be debited from your CHECKING or SAVINGS accounts on the payment due date.  You may enroll at any time, PROVIDED A COMPLETED AUTHORIZATION FORM IS RECEIVED.  Please be aware that there will be a $25.00 fee if an automatic withdrawal is returned due to insufficient funds or if the account number given on the application is incorrect.

If you would like to enroll in this program, please complete the authorization form, and be sure to attached a voided check.  Once the application is filled out, you can mail or email the authorization form and voided check.  Incomplete applications will delay enrollment.

Should you wish not to participate in the ACH program, you can continue to mail your check or visit our website and pay online.  As a reminder there will be an administrative service charge per billing cycle in the amount of $3.00 when utility billing is mailed via USPS rather than electronically received via email.  If you wish to have your utility bill email to you, please email us at info@gsd.illinois.gov.

Any questions, can be directed to Maria Martinez at 847-604-8280, email us at info@gsd.illinois.gov.

PENALTIES

Our billing system automatically generates a penalty bill for any regular quarterly bill not paid by the due date and is subject to a 10% late fee. Failure to receive a bill does not exempt customers from penalties.  Every attempt will be taken to collect on delinquent accounts via: collection letters, liens recorded against the property, legal action or water termination/Shut-Offs.  To view the District’s shut-off policy click here.
